New Boss OC-5 Octave

I'm looking forward to this.

It seems a little like a blend between the oc3 and the mo2 Multi-Overtone.

Looks like a step up from the oc3 and although it's not bringing anything game changing to the table, it looks pretty solid tonally.

The videos I saw all seemed to have the BC1 comp involved heavily, which leaves a little sour taste in my mouth.

I just demo'd it 30 minutes ago and it's awesome. I will absolutely be buying one the moment it comes out. For reference, I currently have an OC3 that replaced my Micropog because it was getting unreliable and with the OC3, I missed the upper octave.

The OC5's upper and lower octaves sound very warm and organ-like. The tracking on this thing is spot on and it sounds a bit clearer and more articulate than my OC3. Good stuff!

Looks promising.

"Introduced in 1982, the OC-2 was the world’s first modern octave pedal for guitar and bass. Still loved by players everywhere, the stomp’s warm-yet-present tone sits perfectly in a mix, and its characteristic voice can be heard in many famous songs. The OC-5’s Vintage mode brings you the OC-2’s iconic mono sound, coupled with improved response thanks to the new tracking engine."

That's cool but am I the only one that likes the OC-3? Maybe? I think I like the feature set of the OC-3 better.
Thank you for sharing though!
Best wishes,
Brent
