7 piece neck walnut / maple
Purpleheart or Yellowheart or some other wood fingerboard
20 or 21 jumbo frets
Peruvian walnut body core
Claro Walnut Top Set
Blk hardware / passive electronics….
P/J pickups….

Should I go with the yellowheart..???

After planning, white streaks start to appear on wood….

Why not go for 100% and use some fancy walnut for the fretboard too!

Mmm, I love walnut! Subscribed. I'd go with a maple or ebony FB, but either yellow or purple heart looks cool...I like the purple heart more though.

..Hey..!!! I was thinkin that I Cut some walnut from the "body board and was able to make two fretboards.. but I was searchin the net and this site.. and did nut see no walnut FB ..I might just do it.. thanks ... Q???? can I just walnut for the FB..??

Yes, just make sure it's quartersawn. Stay away from using flatsawn wood for FB's, tears out very easy when re-fretting later on.

Id personally go with yellowheart.. I love contrasting colours and walnut with yellowheart do contrast. THAT NECK LOOKS HOT!

my choices would be in the following order
1) Walnut
2) Maple
3) Yellowheart
dont like the look of purpleheart on the walnut

I'm liking the yellowheart too, it's nice looking. Although IMO a perfect scenario would be a blank ebony FB with no dots and SS frets.. but thats just me!

Mmmmm..... Waaaalnut... Very nice. Walnut and maple look great together. Like salt and pepper, they were meant to be together. =)

...lol...no..just my wife...."take 'dem shoes off B4 you tarck up my floor with that wood "stuff".......so now I work with saddles on my feet..Ez-er to take them off......
