I gave it a bit of a whirl and I like it a lot! Before this I had a Tubeworks 410 which also sounded really good. To my memory they actually sound pretty similar when the tweeter is off on the 1210pl. The 1210pl isn't as tonally deep sounding, but the 410 was physically about three inches deeper, had 4 10's, and four ports. This does sound clearer, though, even with the tweeter off.
The main difference is that the 1210pl (38 lbs) is less than half the weight of the 410 (85 lbs). I had two abdominal surgeries this summer and I'm not risking injuring myself repeatedly lifting an 85 lb cab! I can easily one-hand the 1210pl.
