New cab, GK Neo IV vs Mesa Subway?

I’m wanting to get a new cab but unfortunately I have no way to try out these two models before I buy. At the moment I’m rocking a p bass with chromes running through a Quilter BB800 into a Fender Rumble 210. I’m looking at a 115, wanting to get a deeper sound than the 210 Rumble is giving me. I play rock, country, and a little blues so I’m clean 90% of the time. Any thoughts between these two or any other suggestions?

I have no experience with the Neo IV cabs, but I can tell you the Subway 15 has a balanced feeling to it... The mids are very smooth and present. I can't describe it fully but it does what you want in a bass cab and will handle a lot of power. I owned a previous generation GK Neo 15 and it also was a good sounding bass cab. The mids were a little more prominent in the GK but that was very effective in a band setting.

Really, you couldn't go wrong with either.

I plan on ordering a Mesa subway 15 soon. Haven’t been able to try one yet but I already have a Mesa subway head and like it and the 15 gets a lot of praise everywhere I’ve seen online. Definitely seems to be the favorite Mesa cab right now by a huge amount. I’m not a fan of mesas demos of the cab. All the bass players in their videos use odd techniques; playing with a pick, choking the hell out of the strings with palm muting. But have come across a few decent videos that give me hope it’ll be a great cab for most of the stuff I do.

Yeah, the demo videos for each cab I’m looking at are practically worthless to me. I haven’t read a single bad review of the Subway 115 so I think I’m going to pull the trigger on it as well.

The GK Neo IV 212 is the same price as the Subway 115. I might just go with it and see how it goes. From what I’ve read the upgrades to the new cabinets over the previous neo’s is pretty substantial.

I have yet to even find a review on the new GK NEO IV 115 so does that matter? The GK has a 500w speaker in it as compared to 400 for the Mesa.
