That's too bad it's not 1K @ 4ohm. IMO it would make more sense (at least for me) if Carvin didn't worry so much about 2 ohm ratings. Maybe some people run at 2 but I think the major majority do not. I know the BX500 has a switch to change from 4 to 2. I like the way an Orange can change from 4 to 8 so you're getting full power from either setting. Maybe that's too costly for Carvin to try. I still may pick one up down the road as it looks a little smaller than the BX500 from the vid. One of the things I'm looking for in a micro is the ability to fit in my gig bag pocket. This way I can make one trip for smaller gigs/practices. So far only the GK's fit that bill. I have a big gig head in a rack case when I need it.

Perfect for my 2x12 (Faital Neo) 4 ohm cabs...can run two of these with the b1000.

I wish more manufacturers would offer 2 ohm heads

I practice twice weekly with my B1000 and 2 15 in. speakers.I'm very satisfied with the sound.
