Gotta love the Carvin Facebook page if you're waiting for one of these things...news from CARVIN is that an even newer bass is in the works...I could be wrong, but they are working on a new bass design (maybe single Cut?)
lol, its is a cool looking bass though. The blocks look too small. I wonder if they would look better on a 4 string.The flames in the background sold me.

The carvin preamps ALWAYS seem way too hot, even with the trim pot all the way down...
I wonder if this has ever been a complaint to Carvin?
I wind up always selling carvin basses because it's way too hot of a preamp
and always clips my amp too much.

Ditto.Interesting. Every Carvin I've had I've always been able to use the trim pot to make the volume the same as passive volume.
