Yeah, it was either a hundo back or full refund, i did pause a sec, but really like it enough that i'm not mad. Am disappointed thats its not there, when looking back at the first pic's showing the binding, it def was a selling feature besides the colors...

They issued the refund without hesitation. I liked the color. Did not like the heavier weight and the whole question of the body wood that I couldn't get a straight answer about. Agathis is a horrible tone wood and used in the cheapest of guitars.

One more thought. Gibson needs to stop using that phoney digital tortoise shell for pickguards. It looks cheap. Black/white/black would have been fine. I did like the gold aftermarket another member put onto his earlier in this thread.

Wait @sleddogn was it suppossed to be black or white binding? Secondly, may I ask where you got the knobd and guard ?Also, did the Pelham blue ever make it into production ?

White binding, check out first post in this thread, there is a pic showing both olive and blue with the white binding on the necks, very sharp. Knobs are just standard gibson gold knobs, easy to find. Guard, its from Home - Pickguard Planet and the Pelham blue did get made, i think they sold the 50 of them super fast, it took a few weeks to sell the 50 olives from first run. There is obviously a 2nd run of olive's, don't know if they'll do the pelham again. I did ask if the binding would be on future ones, and no they wont...
