New CME Exclusive Gibson SG Basses

Chicago Music Exchange just dropped two exclusive SG Basses in Pelham Blue and Olive drab. I didn't think I ever wanted a Gibson Bass but after seeing these…

That Olive Drab is gorgeous. If Gibson stopped suing everybody, and spent all that money supporting the music industry instead of tearing it down for a change, I'd be right on top of one of those.

if they were going to do a green SG style it should be Dennis Dunaway's modded Frog.
always liked Pelham EBs but prefer a black/smoke/clear guard + a tapped mudbucker.

Very cool and I'm not into short scale basses at all. Maybe I'm digging them because I was just playing along to Free's "All Right Now" which gives me hard EB vibes. I would happily own either color.

Forest green is such an under-utilized color. I'm assuming in generally doesn't sell too well outside of limited runs. Both of those finishes are fantastic looking, really elevates the SG from the red/black that we're all used to. Too bad I'm not a Gibson fan.

I get so bored of seeing black, white, and sunburst basses - even though I own basses in those colors. I like seeing more obscure colors, and I think EBMM is the king of mass-produced color variety at the moment.

Oh wow I didn't even see the scale length. I now even have more of a justified reason to get one.

Actually I would be interested in a long scale one. The 30.5 just seem small to me.

SG/EB is my favorite style bass and both those colors look awesome. The green especially.

I had a cherry SG bass and the thing I hated the most was the colour....

I don't care for the olive drab so much, but the pelham is nice (even with the tort)
