Was planning to grab one of these tomorrow but my pedal power supply is only 150ma. Is that going to be a problem?

New Darkglass Compressor: The Hyper Luminal Hybrid Compressor

It draws at least 160mA according to a previous measurement in this thread. That’s a downside to the digital control part

I love my Hyper Luminal, but I think the Empress Bass Compressor is a pretty killer option with the benefit of having all the control right on the face of the pedal and no digital control section so much lower power requirements. Other than that both pedals have some pretty similar features though the HL has a wider array of tones available because of the three distinct engines. I'd say tonally the Empress sits somewhere in between the Bus and FET sounds of the Darkglass, but with some great voices of its own via the tone switch. I'll also add that while my Hyper Luminal absolutely doesn't like being daisy-chained with other effects on power (lots of added noise), the Empress works just great on a daisy-chain.

I have the 'old' empress compressor and is the best compressor I have tried. I am actually selling my Hyper Luminal to get the new Empress Bass compressor.
Been loving my HL, but last night at a gig, an interesting issue cropped up: the pedal was throwing a total wet blanket on my tone.... but not the compressed side of the signal blend, only the DRY side. And it happened only when the pedal was engaged; when off, my tone was sparkly again.
I usually run it at fairly low blend, adding a core to support my normal dry signal, but the only choices I had were: turn it off or run it at 100% wet/compressed signal. Again, the tone suck only happened to the dry side of the blend, NOT the wet side, so I dialed very mild compression at 100% wet blend, and did have myself a good time with it.
Still, the blend function is not something I want to lose. Who knows what could be going on, so I'm going to pull it and test individually.

Best to contact darkglass tech support..had an issue and it turned out to be daisy chaining. They helped me identify what was going on
I have heard of a tone suck issue that happens because of a blown/malfunctioning diode in the circuit, but I thought I had read that it affected the bypass tone as well...
Entirely possible this is a bit of a different issue! I just pulled and plugged the pedal up to a different power supply, nothing else on the circuit. Replicated the issue: Tone is fine when bypassed and when on but with blend turned up to 100% wet, but progressively rolling off as Blend is dialed down while on. No effect when bypassed.
Having reconfirmed the issue, that's the next step for sure. I know they'll take good care of me, though it's seeming more likely that shipping the pedal across the water is in order.
So I just bought a used luminal compressor and I’m pretty sure I have the power issue. Connected to my one spot with my b7k ultra and got no output until I unplugged and plugged it back in. The touch pads were also not responsive during this time. Is this the issue, or did I get a bad deal?
Yeah the HL is extremely sensitive to the type of power it receives. It has to be an isolated supply not chained to anything. Once I got my coiks problem solved.
I also have the HL running on a Cioks Big John without a problem.I own a few power supplies and Cioks is one that will usually take care of any issues in this regard.
I think it might have just been a one off thing. I’ve since plugged and unplugged several times between playing without any issue so fingers crossed it doesn’t happen again. Otherwise I might have to buy a beefy power supply.
I run into the same power issue with my HL from time to time, and I even have it coming off of a TrueTone CS-12 isolated supply.
