New EHX Bass Clone Chorus

I'm SO down with this! I happen to love the Small Clone already. This could be really neat. I have a Mobius, so I don't really need this. But it would be cool to try and have. I just like how it says BASS on it too 
Does anyone know how this chorus holds up against the Aguilar Chorusaurus? I've been holding off on getting a chorus pedal for my board....I've been using Aguilar pedals (Agro, and Filter Twin) and the EHX Bass Big Muff Pi and want to know if anyone has any opinions of the Aggie Chorus as compared to the Bass Clone.
The bass clone just came out so I don't believe anybody has hands on experience with it. With Chorus pedals it's not a matter of "how it will hold against" something else.
It's more a matter of what you like, what tone you prefer and perhaps how it works with your rig. Chorus pedals all do their thing so it all boils down to a matter of taste.
Both Electro Harmonix and Aguilar are high caliber music instruments companies, so I would expect both products to be first rate.
Magic, pure magic, Electro Harmonix aced the Bass Clone. This new pedal nails the vintage Clone Theory tone like no other pedal I have tested before.
This includes some expensive vintage Clone Theory pedals I bought and resold. With controls at noon, and a little bass added you have that perfect, Peter Hook tone in all its glory!
As mentioned before, I am not a big chorus fan but this pedal is different, it just excels at delivering the watery and glimmering late 70's early 80's tone and it does this while being super bass friendly.
Often with reissues or pedals inspired by "famous vintage pedals" the results are disappointing, they are 80% marketing and 20% tone, the Bass Clone is different. I've been waiting for this tone for a very long time and here it is, affordable, and with a form factor that is perfect. In fact, I try to find flaws with this pedals and could not.
The Bass Clone's tone controls are great and do what they're supposed to. The crossover also works well and offers different flavors to your chorus. In fact, one could argue that it's a chorus that does not sound like your typical chorus and that's perhaps why arguably, I like it so much. The speed and depth controls also do their thing offering a wide range of, well speed and depth appropriately. Size is your nano size, small, it takes battery or 9 volts, graphic are OK to good. So where is the catch!? In fact there is none. A great pedal, pure and simple. The value of this pedal is also amazing. It was truly inexpensive and it's oh so beautiful sounding. Highly recommended. This one will stay on my pedal board for a very long time.

I've owned over 200 different pedals in the past; I am down to a handful but as my taste in pedals and my ears have matured, I find myself liking Electro Harmonix products more and more. They have a musicality and an untamed character that often escape more corporate and "safer" products. That company has to be close to being 50 years old and they have kept the spirit and particularly of late have issued and amazing array of super creative and singular sounding pedals. Their energy and creativity seem to be on overdrive at a time when companies often rest on their laurels and go corporate. Kudos to them.

(i currently own a CT). Hooky has said that the reissue is a tamer version of the vintage CT, can the bass clone get even more radicle into the same sonic territory of the vintage CT?BTW, any chance of audio clips?
Yes I have and I did not care for the re-issue it did not sound like the original. The bass clone does.

No noise or volume boost or drop that I noted. That being said these elements can be subjective and I did not specifically listen for them.
I am planning to A/B the pedal with 2 pedals I have which are in the same genre (Boss BF-2 flanger and EH Small Stone) and I will listen for that.
Looking forward to that. I am seriously considering moving on from the Mobius because of this pedal. Not to say its better really. But I may not be able to see the value in keeping a pedal that expensive when I'm as strapped as I am right now. The EHX looks much more affordable to me.

$68.00 shipped from a few vendors on eBay. Sounds like a great deal to me. I have a Digitech bass chorus now that I like but oh well...

Don't feel too bad haha I have a Mobius and Im seriously considering replacing it with the EHX!! haha
I bought one on Reverb today. I will report back when I've tried it.
I've been in love with my Boss CEB-3 and haven't had any desire to try a new chorus for a while, but that YouTube vid was really good. And for $68 it can't hurt to try it out. I might check it out in a month or two when I have a little extra money.
