I mentioned in the RD bass thread that I would be totally content with an RD Standard from Epi with the new Tbirds PUs ,(or those DeCola ones)...
Seems Gibson will have 2 RD Artist Basses in the 2018 limited rubs...(there is a link to a German site in the RD thread..)
I Ordered from AMS over a month ago and still no word. At the time I ordered they said it would ship second week of August, NOT! I see on the site they say if you order now it will ship in November. Of course I ordered a case for it and it shipped the next day! But that's OK as I couldn't wait any longer and had to order the Non-Reverse Gibson T-Bird! Oh, and with some simple modifications the NR T-Bird will fit perfectly in the newer Epiphone t-bird cases!

I agree, the cream looks great. The black pickguard looks good with it, but I was thinking a tort pickguard would look so good against at antique white color.
Just got a call from Sweetwater. My sales guy Jeff says the pre ordered Embassy should be out the door in about two weeks from today...We'll see how that goes.

No call, but I did get email notification that my Jack Casady 20th Anniversary had shipped (Zzounds is the store..) after a 6 week delay! Should have it this Friday!
That's about when I ordered, maybe even earlier. I also ordered the Cherry. Sigh, been trying to hold onto my patience over here.
Sweetwater is known for their customer service including pre-order and back-order personal calls to customers. Good luck and let us know if it was a real date or another missed milestone.
This is actually good news here b/c we had Hurricane Harvey, bought a generator and lived on it for 3 days, and other stuff related to getting prepared for what we got(70-75 mph winds, 70 miles from landfall point) that sort of ate up the "New Epiphone Basses" money for now.
