Have them send the loaded control plate and store it away for rainy day...why not?

I think I am fine with the current state of the bass. I felt more comfortable acting clear and not keeping back doors open...Have them send the loaded control plate and store it away for rainy day...why not?![]()
I hope you love it as much as I love mine. It is the finest instrument I've put my hands on. Can't get the smile off my face when I grab it.
Congrats!!It arrived!
...haven't had a chance to plug in and really play yet because it arrived here at the office, but first impressions are great!!! It's a beautifully made instrument and feels as nice as it $should be$. Overall, it is noticeably more compact than my MIA Mustang both in length and body size. The neck is easy to get around. I think I'm going to enjoy this one.
How do you like the maple finger board?I dunno.... now I love Stingrays, but.... these aren't getting the blood pressure "up" any. Now if you're gonna do a limited run, I'd prefer to see a few things. 1) Don't offer colors that are already done (especially by SBMM - RED). 2) Make it a really "Limited" and mix/match the body/necks around, or allow the user to chose so you do get a truly unique instrument. I'd like a Burnt Ends w Rosewood myself. 3) I hope they've done something with the onboard controls. They could use some help. The push-pull button is so "weak" I'm still not too sure what it does. I have an "OLD" model so I'll pass....

The red one was appealing for sure but I wanted a maple board since my Birdsong is rosewood. Never had a Ray and always wanted to try one. I once had custom Sadowsky PJ made in silver but it lacked mojo .. but the silver picks up the stage light and transforms to whatever colori noticed the 1 silver one was sold, lol
my fav is the red, and it's still holding strong with 11 left
Huu, you must be patient... but the waxed roasted maple neck is definitely worth the wait. Exceptional feeling, always a joy to touch it.Snagged the last silver one yesterday
4month wait
it is my favorite neck of any I've played in over 50 years of playingHuu, you must be patient... but the waxed roasted maple neck is definitely worth the wait. Exceptional feeling, always a joy to touch it.

Beautiful. Congratulations! I’d have been all over this or the plum crazy if I didn’t have a Tim Commerford SS. Hope EBMM release the silver shadow for the full size rays.Ernie Ball is the absolute best. Check out the White Pearloid pick guard on the Silver Shadow.

Adjustment for the roomVery cool.
Your settings on the Genzler are very similar to what I do with mine except I leave the contour off.
By far the best neck I've ever played.Huu, you must be patient... but the waxed roasted maple neck is definitely worth the wait. Exceptional feeling, always a joy to touch it.
