New Zealand has sheep, Australia has kangaroo's and AC/DC....otherwise they are the same.

NZ has a FANTASTIC music scene. We get all their best over here on their first stop to world domination.

if so, then Victor Wooten must not know what he's doing cuz I recently saw him with not one, but 2 410 and 115 stacks. hmmm

Victor Wooten is not the barometer of what is and isn't proper when it comes to bass playing and gear. Not saying that there is something wrong with a 410 and 115 but saying it's right because a celebrity/musician does it is far from a sound argument.

Swings and roundabouts. Both the US and Oz have a great standard of living. Anyone living in either country is fortunate.

We pay more for some musical gear and less for health care, for example. Kind of balances out. I saved more in my last stay in hospital (which was free) than I spent on gear this year.

There are some Australian gear companies. Rode probably the best known internationally. We have some fantastic guitar manufacturers, but I'm not aware of any Oz made high-end bass rigs.

Interesting. Kind.of evens out I guess. Depends on how often you get sick and how much gear you buy.

That's cool, I'm kidding there. Although Jimmy does have a point. There actually are some people here who's only vision of Australia is Crocodile Dundee and probably couldn't find New Zealand on a map.

Careful what you say. About 4 million of those sheep are people. As is at least one member of AC/DC.
