SIGH.... I just bought a Sterling SB14 on ebay. If I had seen this first, I would have saved my money and bought this SX. What a great idea, Rondo!
I have had 5 SX basses go through my hands and one SX guitar and all were decent quality instruments that surpassed their price tags. The wood on the neck of the strat I got is what you would call AAAAA Flamed. It is unbelievable on a 100 axe. One of the Jazz basses I have is up there with the best I've ever played.

I ordered one last night. This will be my first bass. 
Time to start looking for a cheap combo.

I've got an Audere preamp sitting around my place, perhaps if I put that in this bass I'll have the perfect tone configurations...

Pretty sure there was a thread on it recently. Might try searching, though it is a pain since you can't search "SX" and most threads about them don't use "Essex" besides the megathreads.
Hello, I wanted to order that awesome bass. The previous bass i bought from rondomusic, which was damaged, was sent back to rondomusic. I hoped for money back, but it was sent back to me for an unknown reason. I assume that counts as damaged =|

Maybe cause my order consisted of the bass and a gig bag (both are seperate items and not a set), and i elected to ask for the refund for the bass only =|.
But yeh, that bass is really nice. The pickup at the bridge reminds me of a stingray like other people said.

I understand what faceinbass is saying. A lot of times I'll hit the rondo links that TBers post here. Well, that takes you right to the bass page advert, and for me, opens a new browser page with "no history" so the back button doesn't work.
The issue for me comes when I want to view the other rondo basses, so I'll have to edit the address bar manually. There is no home button on their pages when you look at a specific bass. It is a pain to have to mess with the address bar. And yes I'm lazy.
