New Gibson Bass in 2013

I've read this on "teh interwebz"...

Link Removed
The thing is called Gibson EBF... Features a Babicz bridge (the guy holding the bass is the owner of Babicz), and has the pickups of the new G3 bass, but wired together as a humbucker...

I don't know what to think of it!

Set neck. Completely mediocre. About $1,000.00. Any Ibanez smokes it. Nice bridge. The rest is....:bawl:

I personally can't believe they'd bring that thing to market. They must think we're idiots. It's absolutely .......!

Cheers,
Cameron

As with anything else it's personal choice you either like gibson basses or you don't i personally like them and have the new EB 2013 bass and to me it's bada$$ and yes it was expensive thank god for payment plans hahahaha.

I have a wonderful Ibanez Prestige SR3000, and a new Gibson EB. They are very different instruments - and equally useful. The EB is about the same weight as the Ibanez, too.

Cameron really? Tried one?......comment when you have. Ibanez umm yeah ok if you say so.

that's why my first comment thread said 'tried one'...

Totally mediocre, except in the looks department. Then, it's SPECTACULARLY .... Wishbass is it's only competitor.

And yeah, the comparably priced Ibanez SR 1200 E smokes it in every respect...as does a Jazz bass...

Cheers,
Cameron
