To be honest...I didn't ever play really the overdrive that much...I was so into the straight tone didn't dive that hard.

Hello Everyone and all the folks that have been PM-ing me.
Just to be clear - The new lines are replacing the older lines...all of them. I don't know when stock runs out but buts its been out for a while on at least a couple of things (400RB, ect)
What I described above is where GK is going towards (at least for this point in time).

Is GK going to go with universal "world" power supplies, or are they going to be like Markbass with all that homologation BS?
so are the fusions all class D, like if I'm partial to the fusion 550...i'm assuming the 1200 watt guy would have comparable slam to the regular 550 amp?

I cannot say I did not try it...But lets think about this...Its a 1200 watt amp that does down to 2 ohms..I mean how the hell can it not slam?
I went to the NAMM show early before the general crowd came in and cranked the 800 for a moment...That was a beast so...

No, the 1200 will crush it. Their middle power model would be more comparable. I say this having owned the 550, 800, and 2001, and with having considerable experience with the 700 and 1200 watt power modules.
