Heck yeah! The GK Fusion amps are my favorite class D amps. I have a Fusion 500 and it almost upsets me how good it sounds next to my big tubers lol. I think my tubes amps sound better but only so slightly.

Looks like they combined the Fusion, Plex, and MBs. I wonder if all three can do 2 ohms or just the 1200. Whatever the case, it looks downright spiffy!

Very Nice, looks like it will replace the 2001 RB. According to GK this 1200 amp will come in a combo also.

According to G-K's comments on that facebook post ( ), the 1200 model gets "1200 through 2, 800 through 4, 400 through 8"... so basically the same as the old 800 unless you have a 2ohm cab / stack available...?

Presumably the new 1000 and 500 will end up with the same sort of output as the old 500 and 200 ? (again, assuming you only have access to 4 or 8 Ohm cabs)

I think I'd be more tempted if that display also had a tuner built in, but as it is it looks like it'll take up a little more space in the gig bag, and now has smaller feet which probably won't clear the top handle on my cab.

    Hmmm

Do we reckon this is a digital preamp like the Plex?

Given how long we waited for the Plex, I'm guessing we don't see these in 2018.

    what do you all think?

Nice but a little too much power for me. I have the 800 and it's more then enough for any event.

Look for the 1200 at NAMM 2020, then on the street in fall 2022.

I'm thinking that the pre-amp and power amp design are similar and that the biggest attraction for me is the built in compressor. OTOH, I'm pretty happy with my MBF 800 and wonder if there are bigger differences than my speculation.
Could this set the stage for a new group of 1200 watt micro heads?

I believe they said it is a tube preamp and tube compressor on these. Additional versions with preamps from the RB series are supposed to follow.
