NEW gk fusion 1200!

So even if the new Fusion does have a digital preamp, there is nothing to say that it won't be a killer amp.

My understanding, that I could be totally wrong about, is that there could be upwards of 3 different versions of the new amps - a Plex digital version, a tube-pre "fusion" version, and potentially a full solid-state version ala classic GK. All three different versions using the same chassis.

Hard to say with any certainty how accurate that is, but if it's true it seems like a good marketing move to cover all their bases.

Yeah I get that but Markbass has been pretty dominant at GC for at least 10 years or so.
As others have mentioned I think GC has a stake in MB. I've heard that Fender makes people take the Rumble stuff in order to be a dealer. Plus if you notice the brands who's heads are now approaching $1000 aren't in GC showrooms (the ones I go to) any longer. Maybe not the target market? I've noticed they are going smaller and cheaper on guitar amps too.
