Unfortunately, These ones are just the initial prototypes and will be going back to the drawing board shortly. I only had the pleasure to pound away this weekend and this morning.

I will be posting the progress on here as we go forward so stay tuned.

You are more than welcome to come up or down to the shop to try out these basses. Not the proto's but the current OC version. I know you said you were having trouble finding one. We are located in Orange, Ca.

Love the idea! I've always been a MM style fan, with the one, simple pickup and all, I've really been waiting for a single pup version of the osX. I think those Glock preamps are the best around too.

Ever thought about doing a maple board though?

Hope all is well and your bass is groovy man!!:bassist:

We are aiming at the end of the year but that is not set in stone yet. We have some things to work on with the bass (neck thickness is a little much) but we are almost there. This was the first actual working model we received and it is a beauty!!

We should have some sound clips in a couple weeks or so.

I will keep this thread updated as we progress.

We did try other combo's but just kept coming back to this setup. Very true and transparent and, in our opinion, just delivered everything we were looking for.

The thought did cross the minds, however none have been made yet. The Rwood just has it.......and has it enough to only offer it at the moment. We are still in our infancy and have some really great things on the horizon.

I've read this in the thread a couple of times I think. For the record, This is definitely NOT a musicman style bass. It has much stronger mids. If the MM style is more your vibe, the BassX.oc would be a better choice for you. This bass is for those who want a strong, fat midrange punch.

gimmi one in bright slightly trans pink (just enough to see the grain) and ill be first on the list!!

im looking very closely at the baseX.oc4 and should have one by the end of summer, this might be too off topic, but how do you like this bass? (the X.oc4 model)

but yah, this bass in trans pink and the orange burst X.oc4 would be a killer combo!

absolutely Dan, looks far closer to a "tweaked and freaked" P-Bass than an MM style bass.
