New Ibanez (headless, multiscale)

I’ve lurked this thread for weeks. I was really impressed with the bass at NAMM and wanted to try one in hand before pulling the trigger. Needlessly to say on the way to a session yesterday I stopped in my local store for strings. I asked “do you plan on getting the new Ibanez EHB?” He happened to say “Yes! We actually got one in stock” As it was their first day open for in store customers. I was honestly shocked. After playing for about 15/20minutes, I’m the proud owner of a new Ibanez EHB 1505Ms in tropical seafloor! This thread really helped me decide on the 1505Ms! I couldn’t pass it up. I consider myself of the luckiest people on the planet right now. Not to mention they must have been in a good mood and threw in a mono bag. Little big for the EHB but it will fit other basses nicely!!

Really jealous over here because that's exactly the bass I have on preorder. Are you in North America? If so what store did you get this at?

So they gave you a Mono bag on top of the gig back that comes with the bass?

Let me rephrase slightly, got some store credit that had to be used that day, since they price couldn’t be negotiated. It covered all of it. So I guess I shouldn’t have used the word “gave”

Sweetwater no longer says in stock for the 1500. But my order history still says ready to ship! Who knows but the Friday before last, it said items received but was corrected that same day.

Now this last Friday the website said in stock, until today and my order history still says ready to ship!

Let's hope it's not in stock because they've already pulled yours from the shelves and it's in a box headed to your doorstep!
