New Ibanez (headless, multiscale)

@LowEndLobster has a YouTube video on this subject.
Many thanks for the pointer. Seems like the pickups are the difference in terms of sound/tone. I have to check when he does the switchout of the 1005 bartolini pickups with aguilar pickups and the Nordstrom pickups from the 1505 to see if it truly is that alone or if the construction is adding to the differences.

Long and McQuades site has changed the status on the 6 string from preorder to out of stock. Not sure what that means... Guess I'll give them a call tomorrow. Will update if the response I get is any kind of interesting. :)

I noticed a number of retailers did the same for the 6 string. You can't even search for it on Guitar Center anymore. Let us know what you find out!

Andertons has a demo up.

This video pretty much confirms my guess that if you use the onboard EQ to shape the Bartolinis' tone, you can get it to sound just like the Nordstrands, so there's no need to swap out the pickups, unless you absolutely need that Nordstrand tone even when in passive mode.

To my ear, the BH2 on 1500 dint get Nordy voice even with onboard EQ tweak. The 1500 on this video sound worst on B and E string compare to 1500ms I try at GC.
