heh, I've yet to try a 50 string bass

and yeah, the black finish on the 706 is AMAZING!!! I wish the 705 came with it...

heheh I want to try the new BTB, I didn't like the 670's much but those 570's interest me. I have a 450 I wanna see how they compare.

Hmm the only thing that attracts me about the new models is the neck through body and the use of Mahogany compared to basswood.

I believe I see a SR705 in my future. I was considering grabbing a SR505, but thought that was kinda dull considering I already have a SR500. The 705 looks just about right.

The only reason I wouldn't take it over the 705 is that it has a gloss neck
