Agreed. The only thing I would like to see in that JetKing is a big ol megabucker at the neck.
I picked up an SR706 and played it at the local GC this past weekend. The finish on it was gorgeous! The pics you see of this bass does not do it justice. The only knock I have against it was the B string was flopping all over the place.

i played the btb 575fm at sam ash last week, dude it sounded awesome, i had just set down a lakland 55-02 and saw this ibanez, i played it and was blown away, it screamed quality, and now i want it bad, it had a awesome slap sound with both pickups on, and when just the bridge on, it growled as heak!, it was neck through, and the new mk2's sounded way better than the mk1's, and the back plate said 9 volt battery, i was slightly heavy but felt solid, it was mohagany, with a maple top i believe, and the sound of the pickups was so clean and quiet, it honestly was one of the best sounding basses i have heard in a long time, it was i guess a charcole color, it costed if i remember right $799.00 the only con was the neck was a little to wide at the nut, but to make up for that the neck had a good thiness to it, but not to thin, and the string spacing was perfect for slap, the sounded came close at least my ears to ken smith stuff, or peavy cirrus stuff, it is one of the best buys out there right, if feels like it should cost way more, and the fit finish, paint job etc, was better then the 55-02 i just played before it.

now if I can find a SR750 for a good price I'll have that too 
I played a Jet King bass at a GC yesterday and I gotta tell you, thet bass is $350 worth of awesome! I may have to break down and get one. It reminds me of how a T-Bird should sound.
I myself am a little miffed as to why ibanez have abandoned their mid frequency selection able preamps, my btb 556 with the mid freg pot is the most versetile bass i own and sounds amazing, the bart mk1's growl and thump beautifully. I love my 6 string but often find myself questioning whether a 5 string would be better, since they slimmed the horns (not longer than before just less wood at the joint so they appear longer) and simplified the preamp i'm not interested unless it's an older model. greta basses playability wise it's amazing, great flat sound and when tweaked anything is possible but heavy too, mahogony is a heavy wood so whack an oversized mahogony 6 string bass on you for over an hour and you feel it

I am also a HUGE fan of Ibanez's 3-band EQ w/sweepable mids. One of the best bass preamps I've ever heard.
BTB's are great, and as a 5-stringer, I'm a fan.
