New Jackson basses

I do like the js3 a lot. played for an hour in G.C. Some lows and a lot of mid and highs. Especiall when A-Bing it with a 1500 dollar Stingray. More focused sound and not nearly as "boomy" as the MM. Didn't much like the js2. completely different sound to my ears. I REALLY want that Kellybird. I would get it tomorrow if it was in stores.

I want the dave ellefson 5 string. Too bad only the high end 3500$ custom shop model comes in 35 scale. The only reason stopping me from getting this cheaper one is that. I would replace all the hardware with hipshot and install high end active emgs and preamp for the stock HZs. If they do it in 35 scale they have my money.

untrue.

The JS3V is 35 inch scale.
And there is a 35 in scale 4 string also.

Right now the 5er is 326 on musicians friend shipped.

I.E. Jackson JS Series JS3V 5 String Concert Bass Guitar it says 35"

Interesting. I always liked the Kelly design as far as pointy guitars go, I had one a long time ago.

I still don't understand why they only have "cheap" basses and "stupid expensive" basses. Why is it not possible to make a neck through or bolt on of better than average quality with good electronics in it? It seems like they cater specifically to beginners or pros that have disposable income. I did play the Dave Ellefson CB-XV the other day and it was okay, I thought the low B was floppy, but what did I expect?

I actually found a Dave Ellefson RIP bass (the real deal...) signed by him for a decent price, and by decent I mean $2500. I'd buy it in a second if it was $1000 less. And I'd buy a regular ol' neck through Concert bass that it's modeled after too.

LISTEN TO US JACKSON!!!! Make the basses we want to purchase and they will sell. Sheesh.

im kinda mad they stopped making the regular kelly bass, and personally i DO NOT like e.s.p and am also mad that frank bello stopped using fender, btw, its fine if you like e.s.p just personally i dont
