I always said it with a hard "J" but I think this would actually be the correct way. Jerzy is Spanish (I think.)
I would hazard a guess they're pickup mounting screws. The other side of the pickups would be located beneath the cavity cover.
Absolutely gorgeous. I don't think it would be a bass I'd ever play, but I appreciate its awesomeness.

Nice to see Jerzy keeps evolving his first and most popular design.
This is the first time I see an asymmetric body from him. Does he do it only with the extended fretboard, or also with the 24 fret models? Or was it a special request from you?
It is also the first time I see bridge slanted like this, and the pickup adjustment screws at the back are also a very recent development.
Also, the strap mounting points are usually mounted to the side edges instead of to the rear face. Your request, or Jerzy's idea?
It is also unusual for him to have a one-piece neck, but the flame makes it look gorgeous.
He has been making knobs with a domed upper edge for some time now, and these are especially beautiful.
