New member here and new bass guitar!

Hi all, I am a new member here and I just bought this Ibanez SR505 bass 2 days ago. My first 5 string bass! :)

Thanks :). I consider myself new to the music scene and have only been playing bass for a year or so. I got into music two years ago and started off playing the drums, but now the bass is the only instrument I play.

I love all kinds of music and I play anything from 311, to No Doubt, to Sublime, to Metallica, to Rebelution......So pretty much just about any genre. I now find myself getting into funk/jazz.

And thanks for welcoming me to the forum :)

from fellow drummer/basser...welcome. This forum is one of the single best resources for learning about our "world". Very lively and pertinent discussions...and the occasional side track. Don't be afraid to ask questions, even if you get jumped by some for some "noob moves". I did the same thing at first, and you learn
