New mesa subway amps and cabs!

Unknown. He's on a 30 day benching. Maybe cut short for good behavior??
well, we actually have a pretty good idea what happened, and it was pretty ridiculously trivial and likely related to much stricter rules that commercial users must live by. But that's all in the past now and we'll just have to patiently wait for the elderly equine's timeout to to finish in about 3 weeks.

My insight here is not going to make the first column on page 1 in any major newspaper, in fact it would be lucky to appear above the fold on page 10 as a small paragraph. And yes, I realize I just used an analogy that shows my age...but neither Andy nor I are exactly young guys!

The SW115 might be able to do the job and it's not much extra size or weight over the single 112 for the noticeable performance increase it offers. I like the SW112, but from your description it seems like it may be at or beyond it's limits for your application. On a positive note, the SW115 is not a compromise in mid range voicing compared to the SW112 as one might expect. My thoughts are based on owning both a SW112 and SW115 - which OBTW play really well together in case a 2 cab solution is a consideration.
This.

Rules are rules. The CUP rules are in addition to the everybody rules, and completely reasonable and fair. If not for the CUP policies, can you imagine the rampant spamming, shilling and trolling we'd be bombarded with daily!? Personally I've walked right up to the line once, and justifiably got a warning. I asked a question that, although I really wanted the answer to as an educational query, could easily be confused as a troll post from a commercial member.

From what I've gleaned to have happened, I commend our dearly missed equine for making it as far into the thread as he did without blowing a fuse.

Spoken like the true gentleman we know you to be! If we all walk away from this having re-read the rules and recognizing that it is easy to walk innocently into trouble sometimes without even realizing it, that may be the good that will come out of this situation.

word!

I agree that basically following the TB rules makes this a pretty well behaved little corner of the web. TB is fairly moderated and I appreciate that. That being said, the thread that (likely) got the horse was an utter b.s., whiny taunt kind of thing that was aimed right at Mesa's Subway line explicitly and was justified with a "like, it's just my opinion man" followed (hilariously IMO) by the OP's endorsement of another boutique amp brand as the "greatest amp ever" (sic) ... I mean, I totally get that people like their gear, but why do we get these kinds of dumbass threads that throw shade on other gear in order to build up someones personal favorite. How come folks can't just stay in the positive, say something about gear they like without resorting to saying crap about others ? .... kind of baffles me honestly.

yes, I know this is the interwebs and that kind of stuff runs rampant, but it still sucks and it sucks even more when a very measured response from someone like the horse lands him in a timeout while the OP is free to stay and spew to his hearts content.

but of course, that's, like, just my opinion man.

phew! .... backing away from the keyboard ...... ;)

Rather than wonder why, let's keep the thread on topic. :)
