New mesa subway amps and cabs!

I have been waiting for someone to chime in about experience pairing sealed cabs, and Berg sealed cabs in particular, with the WD800.
I currently have a CN112, CN212 and and NV610, but have had my eye on the NV212T, or one of the HG cabs (310 or 410).
can you talk a bit more about your WD800/HG310 rig ? what kind of gigs, tone goals etc ...
@pfschim - this setup is incredible, especially with the aforementioned HPF around 9o clock-ish. WD800 with a CN212. Notice how my MB500 and SW DI are looking away in shame...
I'm not at all surprised to hear this and you are not the first TBer to say the same.
My WA sounds outstanding thru the CN212 (it also sounds great running the CN212+CN112 ... but that's a 2ohm load and that gets the WA into "iffy" territory
)OTOH, I'm also happy to start hearing some feedback on the WD800 into sealed Bergies like the NV212T or HG (310 or 410) as I am looking hard at one of those cabs because I really love the sealed cab low mid slam for some things.
The wd800 works ( for me) great with the hg310.
I’m honestly more impressed with the hg310 than anything.
This cab is afreakingmazing!!
I will say that playing the wd with a ported cab didn’t completely blow me away.
The amp does have extended highs and the lows are pretty potent as well but playing the amp through a sealed cab made the difference.
Basically, through a ported cab I messed with the eq (a lot )
But with the sealed cab it was effortless.

Also, I’m still trying to figure out why Mesa amps look so sweet on top of berg cabs
Looks pretty sweet aboard a pair of Trickfish TF112s too....

I love my D800+ but now you've got me really Gas'ing to check out a WD800. Maybe someone will bring one to our GA GTG in April and I can do an A/B comparison.
There have been a few that had the D800/D800+ and purchased the WD800 and still prefer the D800/D800+ so ...... it sounds like I really need to check one out before I run and jump off the cliff.

Regarding the differences between the D-800/D-800+ and the WD-800, please don't think that one is "better" than another. They are different amps with different feature sets that will appeal to different players. Some players will prefer the D-800 to the "+" or the WD based on simplicity, size, weight or whatever, those players simply won't have to spend as much to be just as happy as a WD player. Don't begrudge him, he's the same guy who might be looking to buy your used D-800 so that you can buy something else...

I have them both..the Subway D800+ and the WD-800..love them both.. they are the final pieces of my tone puzzle .. they aren't going anywhere. Each has a Rumble v3 500 4x10 cab .. both heads can be running together or separate A/B/Y ed into a Radial .. I have a Fender Amer. Pro Jazz and a 73 Ricky 4001( each into another Radial A/B ed as well ) The different tones available are amazing , both Mesas have their own voice , yet they really sound great together ..Yes , I know.. they're not power tube driven .. but that's where the weight factor and the price factor kicks in. I've had people come by and think they were hearing tubes and then just gawk at these two little bandits set up on the stacked Fender cabs..The dimed Jazz and Ricky both growl , the Mesas add that beautiful low mid punch ...the perfect match.

Another cab question - is there a difference between the sound of 2 Subway 115 cabs vs the 215 cab?

That's why I have the WD800, D800, and Subway Preamp + pedal - covers all the bases. Right now the WD800 gets most of the use, but when I use the D800 "backup" I'm not really losing anything in translation. Just a different sonic vibe.
