I quite like the finish. I think it would have looked really nice with a matching headstock.

I was thinking the same thing.

I'm a hardcore burst guy, but I really like that finish.

I really like the color. EBMM has been doing these limited runs for a long time and has rotated standard colors.
If you want a true custom from them you'll just need to join a metal-core band, get some neck tats, skinny jeans, and Vans.

It's always been tbe truth with EBMM.

I love tbe colour. This is the first pdn since the 'honey roasted' and 'neptune' that looks the full package.

Now, a Caprice with these features- mmm.

I like it. The pictures of the basses show a normal control plate on front and something on back to access the controls.. must be of two different basses

The dual pickup StingRays preamp/pots are actually loaded from the rear, and the chrome banana plate is just there for looks.
The single pickup Ray is still the same front loaded it always was.

Every time they announce one of these it's always so close to what I want. Last time it lacked a rosewood or ebony fretboard. This time it doesn't have fret markers. Not a big deal but I switch basses a lot and if I've had a few drinks and it's dark I sometimes look when sliding up the fretboard and can't see the side markers.

These EBMM threads are turning out to be just like carvin threads. A thread is created when the company (who make what is commonly referred to as a high quality mass produced bass) announces an awesome new product, then the thread fills up with whining about what they don't do.

I particularly like the ebony board without position markers and roasted maple necks - look very nice indeed.

I've got two rosewood and one maple with no markers. I love the clean look of them.

I really like sparkle finishes, and this one looks spectacular.
I'm contemplating ordering a single-humbucker Sterling Bass in this color.

I'm also bummed-out about the lack of available finishes on Stingrays nowadays...

...but that's why God permitted the creation of G&L!

Back to topic, this is definitely one of the classiest-looking metal flake finishes I have seen in a long time!

I believe so. Do know matching headstock is an option
