New Offerings from Gibson

Opinion maybe, but added nothing to discussion, other than to incite those who were discussing the subject of the post: Gibson basses...

...which is the very definition of a troll post.

+1.

I can't stand Warwicks as an example, but many swear by them. I wouldn't post in a Warwick thread that the new single cuts or hollow bodies are "overpriced turds".... Especially without even touching one.

I wish I had been a bass player back in the 70s when I got my first Les Paul... I would love to still have, today, an RD bass with all the Moog circuitry, had I purchased one. Plus, I do think that the RD shape is pretty cool, more 'reasonable' for a bass, a bit smaller, and just 'nicer'. From what I've read of the new RD, though, it's just a shadow of its 1970s self.

I would love the see the Japan Epiphone EB-3 here. It's like the US version except it has a short scale neck instead of the long scale neck.

And no, I don't mean the Elitist. They have one that is built in China that is like the inexpensive EB-3 that we get here but, with a short neck.

Oh, cool. So you presume to know WHY I posted my opinion, too? You sir, are a sage.

Got it. Only positive speculations/opinions about basses no one here has played need mentioning.

Troll post...followed by another, namecalling, troll post.

Nice job diverting the thread from the discussion at hand, but then, that's the point of a troll post, isn't it? :spit:

You can speculate, and discuss positive & negative about a product, without getting ignorant about it. Something you have yet to learn, obviously...

So, I post an opinion, then several posters here call my post out as a troll post, hence "feeding the troll" as it were, yet I'm the one diverting the thread? :eyebrow:

Okay. I'll stop now.

Good example. I share your opinion of Warwick basses, and as such, do not participate in threads about them. As with any product, there are positives & negatives, and those who appreciate Warwicks discuss them. I have nothing to add, so I just steer clear...something other posters here ought to heed...

...back on topic, my Gibson GAS is pretty much satisfied by my Tbird & my SG basses, with an Epi Pro Tbird thrown in for good measure. But that Explorer baritone looks interesting...and if they release something other than a silverburst, I might be pursuaded...
