From scratch - you started with wood planks and built a bass? Or you assembled parts? Either way is great, just trying to establish if you're a Super Hero or just a Hero
Very sharp looking bass! How does it sound? What tuners did you use? How much does it weigh?
Hip Shot Tuners.Congratulations on your build nice looking bass!
What hardware did you go with for the tuning machines?
It is living up to my expectations.Looks fabulous. Does it live up to your expectations sound-wise?
Thanks. Not sure if I’m keeping it or selling it.Nice bass congrats! Hope you enjoy it for many years
Great job! The Birdseye Maple/Myrtle combination is beautiful, and the contrast of the all black hardware really pops. Such a nice, clean, modern take on a classic design — very elegant! If I saw that bass listed for sale it would definitely grab my attention.I just finished building this P Bass (yes, from scratch).
Aguilar 60s Pick ups
Babicz FCH bridge
D Tuner
Swamp Ash Body with Myrtle Top
Birdseye Maple neck with carbon fiber rods and Birdseye fingerboard.

Me too, but I had the skills to build a bass like that one from scratch, I'd be building new ones all the time and would wind up neck deep in beautiful basses. Oh, the horror! If I had the skills to build a good looking, quality bass like this one, I'd have a hard time parting with it.
Color me impressed, acoustics are a whole different ball game than solid body electrics. Would love to see pics of it when finished (or any others you've made).Currently building a dreadnaught for a charity auction and a Strat for someone.

BTW, beautiful bass you've made there!
