(Liberia and Myanmar are the other 2 countries not using the Metric system)

Honestly I don't think it will ever change. If it hasn't changed by now I don't think it will. There will always be that older generation saying how great the metric system is. From what I've seen and from the few Americans I've met, it seems any sort of change is almost always regarded as a bad thing.

Fahrenheit is weird AF too.

They just came out with the bass in the three colors last month.
I doubt if they'll add more before the end of the year.

Get the color you like best, and have a good christmas :D

Beautiful song and the bass sounds really awesome. I wonder if it is with stock mexican pickups, though with proper EQ one can adjust anything.

BTW has anyone who already has the PJ Mustang thought about swapping the stock pickups with something else, or are the stock ones good sounding enough? I mean both output and tone wise.

100% sure that they were stock. They still had the plastic on them from the factory.

What kind of strings come stock on these?

Also, I had one hinky moment last night. I switched from the j bridge pickup to the neck p pickup and all sound cut out. I fiddled with the pots a bit and switched back and forth and the sound came back. I'm going to have to open it up and see what could possibly be causing this.

Mine is doing that too. Mostly when I flip to J, but sometimes with P too. Usually when I flip it fast.
Something simple, I'm sure, but it shouldn't happen at all.

I've also experienced this a few times. Generally its happened when I've been playing and tried to switch quickly as I'm playing. Doesn't seem to happen if I take my time with the switch. Haven't yet gotten around to taking a look at it.

Switch it up and back, and it goes normal.

I love the way this bass plays and sounds.
The controls - not so much.

I'm fine with the controls, but I'm a minimalist and not a control freak. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Also, I'm a Gibson 6 stringer so the three-way switch suits me nicely.

I will say that the pickups have grown on me a bunch. What's really amazing about this bass is that it's nearly absolutely perfect for my medium-small hands. I mean, I could really become a serious bass player with this instrument. That's something I could never do on a full scale bass.

Mine came yesterday!

Never thought I would own a white bass but the mint guard really appeals to me.

That and I have a red SS Fender JB already and don't want to have to constantly explain that it is not actually white with the sonic blue. ;)

I am happy with the fit and finish, but I am not too picky anyway.

A little too low action for me so a small tweak was required.

The neck has a satin finish and is sweet.

I for one, like the fact they put a 'regular' pickup in it.

Plus the tone knob actually does something.

PJ's tone is new to me and I like it. I never had a 'proper' P pickup and I like it solo and combined with the J. I even find the J solo is good (working tone knob helps a lot)
