I can't figure out why these are still so hard to get and yet almost no reviews to be had. Every time I look on Sweetwater or Sire websites they don't have any in stock for immediate delivery

Has anyone with one of these upgraded the electronics?
I just got one of these, but the piezo is quackandclacktastic and to me sounds terrible without heavy outboard eq'ing.
Who's upgraded and to what?

So here I am having a conversation with myself on TB.
I was too harsh on the harshness of the preamp.
I found the right frequencies to cut and pretty much tamed the quack.
But I still think the preamp could be better, and wonder if anyone has made changes.

Glad you got it sorted. I can't help, love mine. I did add a mag pickup for variety though.

nah just tacked on with double sided mounting tape, no harm no foul lol.
