It is not but accomplishes the same thing. Two seperate 4 ohm amps running into 2 seperate 4 ohm cabinets. Neither amp is runng at 2 ohms but the cabs are being powered as if they were, be it probably with less distortion.

There are already plenty of two amp "solutions" to the 2 ohm issue... you can buy two MB-500's, two LMII's and in both cases have more wattage for the same or less money and have more control over each cab (two preamps instead of one). Or two Shuttles or three Carvins, etc.
