New Traynor YBA 100!!

This site has some listings of dealers that are no longer operating or may not be retail vendors so do check beforehand to see if your preferred dealer is still open for business - Kelly

Yesterday, the L&M website said that these would be available from their distributor (or words to that effect) on 28 April. Now it has the more standard out of stock at our supplier when ordered you will be provided with a delivery date.
So, I assume Traynor is currently closed, but should be able to open again as part of phase 1. So in relation to phase 1, when will I see one at my local L&M (I know they expect to get one as soon as available)?

Those release dates are obviously wrong. The COVID-19 'State of Emergency' has put us in a peculiar spot, we at Yorkville have been temporarily laid off and will hopefully be returning to full work soon.
Unfortunately, I don't have any info about rescheduling of any of our products. We're trying to get back to work and back to normal production, safely. Currently I'm working on a special medical device project (a ventilator) which can help people with COVID-19 and other ailments. We're doing our best.
And that is far more important than any amplifier. Thank you for the work you’re doing.
Regarding headphone out; i am sure there must be a way to operate a tube amp also with a much lower load than max output power without damaging the output transformer. I am sure that Ampegs PF20/50T or Mesas Prodidy are not simply burning their max power at a load resistor inside to work without cabs.
We are all looking forward to you getting back to dropping amps off the roof and the rest of us getting back to normal work.
Stay safe - I need to try out a YBA 100. At half the price of a V-4B it is a bargain. And if it sounds like a YBA 300, I'm sold. It will pair well with my YBX 1510.
Stick with the ventilator work. But when that's in good shape a ventilator YBA-100 combo would be cool

I heard that this session was made on a portaflex B15 , I don't know for the bass that Bill use on it but it was the era that he use a Fender Mustang so maybe.
Could be. Those sessions were a complete disaster for the band though. I can't remember the exact timeframe, but I believe they were in that house for over a year and only completed something like 4 songs for the album before things devolved to a point that they had to go home / into rehab. The rest of the album was all finished after the fact. Ventilator Blues was one of the songs they recorded on site, though. Named after the fan in the window of the dingy basement room they were using to record in.
Fun facts, but getting a little far off topic I suppose.
So... Since I've never used one, maybe you guys could help me: How would one characterize the general tone of the YBA100/300? Vintage? Modern? Something in between?

I'm actually curious about this too. I can't find any demos online.
There are plenty of vids of the YBA300 which should have similar voicing. It’s certainly an interesting tone, but I’m curious how it sits in a mix.

An update.
Some of us are back to work and prepping for the eventual return of production personnel. What this means for the YBA100 is that we're reviewing and finalizing everything before production. This will make production much more fluid when we restart the manufacturing engine. YEAH!
