New Warwick CS short scale thumb bass completed!

So I ordered a Warwick Custom Shop a little while ago. After about 2 1/2 months build time, it's just been completed and photographed and about to get on a plane to me! So sort of a NBD post...except I don't have the bass yet haha.

It's just turned up in the gallery today, number #1236

-Thumb Bass custom 30" (short scale)
-Master Reserve Bubinga body, hand picked by me.
-Wenge Neck, Fretboard and Tuners
-Bell Bronze frets
-Brass Just a Nut
-MEC Gold Active dual J Pickups
-2016 Pre-amp design with 9V battery rechargeable via micro USB
-Matched bubinga electronics cavity cover
-Black Hardware & strap locks
-Invisible Fret Technology (IFT)
-Illuminated (not LED, just glow in the dark) side dots.

I feel like the thumb looks good shorter because it's more proportionate now. The full scales look a bit goofy... big long necks on tiny bodies haha!

The bridge is all solid brass, yep!

Indeed. I like how the grain all goes the same direction, the attention to detail there makes my slightly OCD need for symmetry happy

Cool! Is there any tonal or sound difference between this and a long scale 34" warwick bass? Thumb looks cooler in this scale, has more proportion. Congrats!

Wow that should be a production model I think Warwick has one of the best custom shops period. That wood is gorgeous great choice. I really miss my Thumb but it was just too nice of a bass me playing that beauty was like giving a cellphone to a pig.
