New Wentz bass coming.

i think some folks wanna take a vacation from talkbass.

reread the rules, people. you don't slag on other folks because of their musical tastes. you don't slag someone else's instrument choices. if you can't say something nice, or at least civil, then shut up.

these be the rules here folks. :eyebrow:

FENDER IS A BUSINESS

That means there looking to make money, there are so many awesome bassists out ther ethat have no fame. Pete is famous thus they can make money.

I think its funny when people say 'whats wrong with fender" its a huge company , that will follow whatever craze to make money.

I own a fender , not bad mouthing them its just marketing.

Amen.

I don't give a fart about his band or Pete Wentz for that matter, but Fender today is really no different than Wal-Mart. It makes itself money - nothing more, nothing less.

ok.. now i'm gonna chime in on this.. and it's a valid question, IMO.. LOL..

other than the bat logo, the 12th fret inlay and the colors.. what is different about this model than, let's say any other Squire PBass??

is there any difference on the hardware, electronics, woods or neck?? i know the inlay would qualify as an actual difference, but is it really an inlay, or a sticker-based "inlay" under the finish??

Yeah its a jazz neck, its like a hoppus bass in the fatc its string through, no tone, and the pick ups excpet the squier is duncan designed.

I wonder if they did this in purple to gear it more towards girls and the red towards guys because i know alot of girls like FOB.
