Been thinking about picking up a zlx-115p - how do you find the low end?

I tried a few speakers below €450,-. For the money the ZLX has the nicest mids and highs. The lows can be a bit undefined and boomy. But I had that experience with other fullrange speakers too. Cutting around 200hz with a rather small Q-width clears it up a lot. In combination with the B3n EQ's (or the Source Audio SA170) you can get a very nice sound.

Damn - got this on my pedal board connected to cioks Adam - and noticed the wall wart for the zoom is 500ma -

I contacted zoom to see if 300ma is ok

Reason why the Bassbone OD stays in the closet - damn - anyone else under powering this

I used a Boss 200mA wall wart for my Zoom B3n once. It worked, but the Boss adapter got very very hot.

I don't have one of these, yet. I think I understand that the amp models and cabs take up two slots.
Are there any other stomp box fx's or others stuff that take up more than one slot?
Thanks!

Amp models take up two slots, but cabs take up one. So if you're using an amp model + cab sim, that is a minimum of 3 slots. Many of the better Drive models (B7k, etc.) take up two slots. Here is a list of all the items (amps, fx, processors, etc.) that come with the B3n. Single slot items have 4 parameters, while double slot items have 8 parameters.

How do I download the new amp/cab and FX!?!?
Open Guitar Lab on your 'puter, and connect the B3n.

Once GL finishes synchronizing with your pedal and their servers, click on the Effects tab, and you'll see highlights in the pane on the right. Highlighted items are models that were added since the last time you did a download. If you've never updated before, you're in for a treat- they've released a bunch of stuff since launch.

Too easy! Thanks!

Thanks! I didn't realize the amp models take up two on there own before you add the cab. The point on the better drives, I didn't know that ether :/ Probably as better fx come along that also may be the case as well, ? More thinking to do. Right now I am thinking more about fx. I guess I am not an Amp Model guy as much as the kids, as most if not all of my tone is not depended on a particular amp sound or brand so, that's 3 slots open. Some fuzz and fluff is usable at times for me but, it doesn't need to be really good so, a one slot drive/distortion sound would work. Limiters, comps, swirly thing and funky envelops are more the key for me. Yep, more thinking to do. I like the updates. I have a MXR envelop filter from back n da day (the mustard colored one) so, that's cool wouldn't have to drag it around :) Trying to outgrow my B1on (that's where I am at right now) ... anyway, thanks TALK BASS!!!

I'm using the SVT plus the LMT-76 as my clean sound.

The looper works great, no delay at all. You can use it with two slots, or with one slot. As I mentioned above, I would prefer if the looper was independent, but one slot isn't so bad.
The drum machine is great too, and when used with the looper, it does a count down so you can enter on time. That's one more slot, though.

It's been fun experimenting with this great machine. I never was an effect guy, had the bfx-708, but never really liked it. I can see clearly that the quality of this multi-effects units have increased greatly. Really good effects. I find myself now experimenting with the various effects and how they work in different situations.

Now I find myself agreeing with other TB'ers and wishing Zoom would make a b5n, ahah!

I have to update mine, still couldn't find the time to do it.

Really like the new chorus! The EBS amp sim is cool, but won’t displace my FlipTop (on the 60b) as my go to amp sim. Wanted to like the new filter, but I get such a great tone out of the ZTron! Haven’t tried the loop thingy, and I’m not a delay guy, so.....
Anyway, thanks Zoom. Keep em comin’!

Yeah, I remember getting great tones from the ztron on my old B3- haven't tried it yet on the n.

My clean tone fave at the moment is the b7k model into cab sim.

My dirt tone fave is...the b7k model into cab sim.
