Or line 6 hd500x or helix
Or a fractal unit
Or an atomic amplifire
I actually have a Line 6 Firehawk FX, which is close enough to the HD500X, but my main concern is the lack of bass amps, so I'm looking into the units with more bass amp models

B3n modeling is discussed here at 13:00

Except the list of models on the Firehawk is completely different from the HD500 and Helix. Especially with the upcoming update for the Helix (some bass amps, Darkglass b7k ultra, and more), or the HD bass pack.I actually have a Line 6 Firehawk FX, which is close enough to the HD500X, but my main concern is the lack of bass amps, so I'm looking into the units with more bass amp models![]()

That's like saying you don't want a Corvette because you have a Cavalier and it lacks horsepower.
No more B3?
No Zoom bass products with an XLR/DI.![]()
why on earth. No xlr out.
For me that might be the reason not to buy. This clearly is the path Zoom has taken in this latest generation of new products.
I am totally accepting of their decision for the reasons I and others have previously mentioned here, but I can understand why others may not be as pleased.

Anyway, I dont understand why they left it out.
On their Facebook page, Zoom has been defending the elimination of XLR outputs across all of their new products, both for Guitar and Bass.
They have indirectly stated this was a means to keep the units to their sweet-spot price points and to "simplify" connectivity for the end user. I believe more so the latter.
"It cost too much to put a good one in, so buy your own DI, it's simpler that way."
