New: Zoom B3n Multi-Effects

Anybody know it connecting the B3n will connect straight to a powered cab, thinking of ditching my heavy 15" combi amp and using the zoom and a lighter powered cab,(Galien Krueger 12)
Will this work or is there a fundamental flaw.

This should work...or could work, depending on what pleases your ear. I generally use full range cabinets (powered) with the B3n/G5n. I've also had the chance recently to run the B3n into an SWR rig (Studio 200 head into 2x12 Workingman's cabinet). I was running late and just plugged it into the rig without disengaging the cabinet simulation on the Zoom (generally a no-no), expecting just to roll with whatever reasonable bass sound came out of the thing. Holy crap, it sounded really, really good, with my Zoom Ampeg SVT amp/cab models into the SWR rig. Whod'a thunk?

Point being, you never really know how something is going to sound until you use it and hear it with your own ears. I'd be willing to bet, though, that the Zoom/GK combination would work fine. If it's one of their powered cabinets (no preamp or tone controls) that have the XLR input, you'll need an adapter from the Zoom 1/4" output.

I'm digging the fuzz options more than I was at first. I should add that I'm not looking for a "practical" fuzz at the moment, more of an off the wall effect fuzz.

2 questions:
1. Is anyone using an expression pedal with their B3n? Trying to figure out how useful it would be to add one.

2. I considered adding a MS-50G for more drive options, but it occurred to me that they use the previous generation Zoom models. Is it that much worse than the B3n to make it not even worth doing?

Thanks!
Yes, the Zoom one (FP02). It works well and can be assigned to many things. Normally I have it to control volume basically in all patches.

Seems the new guitarlab is arrived (and even the Ampeg B15 many was craving for)
