I would definitely blend some cab sim in with that rig!Thinking about it, my rig is more like an FRFR system. I run bi-amped. 1x10 coaxial for mid-highs and either a 1x12 or 1x15 for mid-lows so...

We're transitioning to a new digital board at my church and I've been wondering the same thing.Hey folks:
I know it's subjective as far as what "too much" sounds from one to another, but does anyone have experience or advice as far as where/when to run/not run compression to get the best out of it? Or am I comparing Oranges to Tangelos to Tangerines?
Hey folks:
I've been running my B3N for a year now, and love love love it.
This touches on the B3N, but also goes beyond -- my current band is about to take the leap from analog mixing to digital mixing. In prep for this, I've been reading the manual for the unit we plan to get. Daunting! So much to get in trouble with!! LOL
Anyways.. the question that comes to mind -- the board we are going to has compression that can be dialed in per channel, as well as the whole mix. I'm already running compression in my signal chain (pretty much every patch I have). I use HPF and LPF and ZNR in every patch. I don’t think you will be disappointed.Nice thread. The B3n seems to be a nice and reliable unit so far. I am just wondering if it can be used as a High/Low pass filter and also how good the ZNR is in comparison to analog noise gates i.e the ISP stuff.
I'm just looking for those 2 things and if the ones that this unit has are good enough I'll rather go with a B3n instead of 2 separate -and more expensive- pedals even though that I'm more an analog pedal guy ha.

Very transparent!Do you think that the ZNR ''sucks your tone'' or is it transparent?. Would it work at high gain settings?
Very transparent!
I don’t work for Zoom, I’m a coffee roaster! You sir got me thinking now. Hopefully you don't work for ZOOM (jk).
I watched some reviews and I found out that it has a Darkglass pre too which I consider a plus. Have you ever used that preset?

On the B3n I don’t use any pre sets, I build all my own patches. I’ve been using their pedals for a while now, so I’m very familiar with the Zoom interface, and it’s just second nature for me at this point.
I run an MS60B into my B3n into a Yamaha DSR112 powered monitor and I love my tones!
Oh, and I am not currently using the Darkglass sim, but I have in the past, and, and really like it!
No exactly - one of the preamp models has a somewhat variable HPF and you can use the Splitter as a LPF as long as you want it 2500Hz or below. I'm hoping there will be another update for the MS-60B soon but you never know with Zoom - I've found them uncommunicative and non-responsive.Now I just saw that the MS60B has the HPF and LPF option too, plus I can run 4 different effects at the same time. Is it that true? cuz the smaller the better![]()
The nice thing about the ZNR is you can put it at the end of your chain and have it still trigger off the input - great for high gainAside from that, has anyone a demo of how the ZNR sounds with a moderate to high gain setting? I can not find anything on the web and I know that you guys already told me that it works good and stuff but it is never going to be the same reading opinions from a forum that listening to the actual thing working.

No.Doesn't the MS60B has the same HPF/LPF options than the b3n?
