Good call, thanks. How about the Korg and a y cable off of one of the power supplies that provides at least 1 amp of power?
Got my B3n yesterday and am impressed by the sound quality but confused about how labor-intensive using rhythms has become. From what I can tell there's no efficient way to add a rhythm track to a patch and no way to add one globally to all patches. I can't find a way to add rhythm tracks through the guitar lab software, which doesn't seem to list rhythm as one of the effects you can add. You have to add rhythm manually to each patch by pushing a whole lot of buttons.
Am I missing something? Has anyone found an easier way to add the rhythm effect to patches?
Thanks.
Which one are you using? A quick search found thisBe careful with those ratings. I bought the warwick one, rated at 6600mah. Yep, at the Lithium ion batteries'(plural possessive) 3.7V. At 9V, more like 2600.
I'm currently(no pun intended) toying with cheap USB battery packs, rated at 10000mah, and a USB-9v boost adapter. I ran both a G10 wireless receiver and a Valeton Dapper at a gig off one of those, and only used 20% of the battery for a four hour gig. The ones I've gotten from eBay are reverse polarity, just FYI.
The rhythm machine is now an effect. Simply drop it into the patch of your choice (at the last effect slot) and then set the few parameters for it. The foot switch controls the start/stop. This rhythm now saves along with that patch only. Repeat this for any other patches that may require rhythm accompaniment.![]()
Amazon.com: Godlyke Power-All C-R/R Electric Guitar Right Angle Reverse Polarity Jumper: Musical InstrumentsI have a few of these and they are terrific for powering my B3 directly...a few hours of rehearsing only uses 5-10%, so I'm confident a charged 10,000mAH battery is good for pretty much all day and then some just as BassikLee says above. I haven't yet found an affordable gizmo to go from USB to 9V center minus. Invalid Link Removed but for now it's still just a pipe dream.
I understand. Now have you found a way to add the rhythm track through the guitar lab software or can you only do it manually on the machine itself?
I find that most audio/videos of bass players online exhibit tones that are much more on the treble side of the tracks than i reside. I have not spent a lot of time with the B3n but am finding that the SVT and AC 370 sims with cabs are very lean on the upper mids and highs. I understand that these are classic old school amps but am curious as to what others think and what their settings are when using them Anyone?
