Just spoke to Richard @ chunk.

Its all happening - no official date yet but he said he is expecting the boards tonight or tomorrow and once they have all the parts they will begin final assembly and all that stuff -

ITs getting down to the businees end - all very exciting stuff.

I'll let you guys know more as soon as i know it myself

As much as I want to get one for $150 off, I just can't. Of course I could buy 2, and sell one for a $200 profit to offset the $400 cost of the one I keep, effectively making it only $250. Seriously, should I do it? I could make a nice profit by selling to someone who doesn't want to wait.

Sell it to Britain. The price is somewhere in the $1000 dollar region here, so you could make a huge profit by putting it on a UK forum or ebay.co.uk. You'd take a small hit in postage, and reduce the price for a UK customer. Now I'm going to go and hide in a hole before I get lynched

I'd just like to recommend Bass People to anyone who is interested in preordering one of these. Evan has been a massive help in helping me to choose my best options and has answered all of my questions as best as he could and very promptly, thankyou very much!

Well I broke down and pre-ordered, that Bass People deal is too good to pass up. If it replaces my POG, MXR filter, and Dan Armstrong Blue Clipper I'll be able to justify it. Otherwise I don't think I'll lose much by having to re-sell. That Harry Highpants sample on the website is what did me in.

Yup. That's why I gave in and ordered one through them last night The shipping is pricey, but the pedal is a couple hundred cheaper through them when you consider the regular $629 price.

If you're not already making synthy noises then save your money. If you are, it's just total win.

I'd been thinking about buying a Brown Dog for ages, so bundling one with an octaver, filter, waveform generator, patch memory and a bunch of other goodies is too hard to pass up. Plus I want to see how they got all that analogue circuitry in that tiny little box.
