not band-compliant yet Well this is nice. After several delays, CS releases the beta to us.
Put the footswitches in "TAP" mode and the left footswitch becomes exactly what you're after.#1 Designated tap tempo for beat-locked effects...
#2 Designated input and output level knobs. Seems to me that these are going to be fairly constant regardless of the effect

The output level of each effect can be easily set if you adjust the "parameter" menu properly - suggest you check out section 4.7 of the user manual. It can effectively be set to make the "parameter" knob a "dedicated" output level knob.
I know. I'm just saying these things would be more functional to me if they were seperate from the rest of the unit and I didn't need to go into a menu to use them.
I'm unfortunately also finding that a synth may not be a pedal I need![]()

Once they are set to your preference you don't need to enter any menus - but I appreciate your point. Personally I prefer being able to set it up to do what you want, rather than being tied into a predetermined, fixed layout.I know. I still say an assignable to any param expression pedal input would have been great. Or maybe better... midi so you could hook up one of those midi knob boxes and tweak everything on the fly. Menus are a pain no doubt. But the sound is really good and I think overall it is a winner.

It's gonna allow me to create killer sounds that can't be found elsewhere. But the whole thing about playing the music I play is that the times when you want to kick in a synth are moments that pop up unexpectedly. Therefore, I want a minimum of menu scrolling when I'm playing...I figure a few more exp outs and switches might make that happen.
