NFL 2017 Week #14

Yeah, that hurt.

I swear though, Bill and Co. do this on purpose. It gives them

Well, I am a hater of Belitubby, Brady, and the Patriot organization. They are like the Evil Empire/Death Star of the AFC (the Seahawks are the same in the NFC), and both have several lesser moons (i.e. other teams I don't like) in their respective divisions. Without villains to root against, sports is a lot less fun. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed the game last night! :D

Near the end, I thought the syndicate was going to let them win again in predictable Patriot fashion: with a late lead their opponent starts to play conservative defense, then Brady gets the ball, gets a questionable roughing penalty, then throws to a short, crafty caucasian receiver over the middle for a touchdown. Everything happened just like that, except Amendola didn't quite get in, and then it fell apart. That pitiful onside kick at the end just sealed the deal. Score one for David, but we all know Goliath isn't really dead....just momentarily stunned.
You are half right. The Seahawks aren't smarmy like the Patriots. Evil empire? Not this year! Plus Russell Wilson doesn't get the ******** calls like Brady does. I don't think he whines as much. And, when the Patriot fans turn up to tell me I'm wrong, I'll just point out that they are misguided supporters of a criminal enterprise and should repent their evil ways. I'm correct. They are slow in acknowledging that fact.

This is all true, but it's more of a Pete Carroll thing. For whatever reason, I just can't stand that guy, so he makes a great Darth Vader stand-in. :) I will say that I actually like Russell Wilson and that Bobby Wagner is an absolute beast.

I don't know man, if I had car troubles I would let a Patriots player help me but would avoid a Seahawks player for fear of becoming a statistic. They seem to revel in the questionable character life.

I'm only half kidding. :)

The way I see it the security fella deserves a spot on the roster and Jefferson owes him a gift card to a restaurant of his choice for saving him a suspension or worse. The "fans" deserve simple assault charges and a lifetime ban from any sporting venue. I think Jefferson showed remarkable restraint ( even though he shouldn't have been there and exacerbated his own condition ). If I had something thrown at me THREE times I might have nutted up too.

I'm right there with you Chris.
I love defensive football, and living in the backyard of one of the best defenses ever could have been an awesome time for me, but no. That cheating gum chewing arrogant man ruined it for me.

Oh, come on. He left USC under the sunniest, most honorable conditions! And he took a while to leave, not under the cover of darkness or all of a sudden, either. ;)
