NFL 2017 Week #2

Very nervous about the game in Jacksonville. The Jags have a fearsome D line. Calais is a beast! If the tackling is as piss poor as last week Fournette is gonna put 200 + on the Titans.

Emotions will be high too in that stadium. I hope there are zero tarps in evidence. I'd love to see that community show up in force and represent.

I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

Humanity over Fanity (sic) :D

The Jags are finally not the absolute worst anymore! The planets aligned or something. Give a team top 5 picks for a decade and eventually they'll stop sucking. Congrats to any Jacksonville fans that have managed to support them all these years! Y'all just might go 8-8 this season. Exciting stuff! Love the ups and downs of football. Makes it more exciting than some other sports (although I won't complain if Golden State wins a few more; that's not boring it's just consistent!).

Liked except the Golden State bit. Cheese team :D I hope the 76ers make some noise though it isn't likely. Still, gotta cheer for my team :)

Thanks! Is it hard to cheer for players on the IR? But hey, they have people who at some point had talent, so if they could all just get in their prime, play as a team, stay healthy, and not tank too obviously, they have a chance. I'll give 'em a chance. Go Raiders! (Go Warriors!) Too bad both are leaving lovely Oakland. Thanks for the memories.

What in the name of heaven, is up with Carson Palmer? Why has he risen in esteem for football playing? He was overrated in Cincinnati. He was overrated in Oakland. He is overrated in Arizona. Why did the Arizonas not draft a QB?!?
Completely agree. I can't see the Cards ever getting past the first round of the playoffs with Palmer. He benefited in Cincy from Ochocinco in his prime and in Zona from Larry Fitz near the end of his prime.

They should go ahead and call this Cards/Colts game the Letdown Bowl.

The Colts are starting Jacoby Brissett Sunday.
I like the guy since he's a former Gator, so I'm happy.

I was really saddened to see the Brisket get traded. I liked him as a possible future franchise for Brady when he finally retires. Good for the Brisket that he's going to be a starter, and great that he had time in NE to learn the work ethics that can transform an above average QB into one of (I say -the- best) the best of the current era

The hew and cry for the benching of Dalton strikes me as crazy. Give the poor guy an O-line! Looks like a firing is coming very soon in Cincy...

No way. Lewis has that job until he steps down.
Crazy, I know.

As for Dalton, he ain't nothing special. He can sit on the bench next to another overrated QB, Flacco.

While I agree, they have nothing better as an option. His woes in the last game were directly attributable to horrid o-line play. Well, in truth the entire offense has taken a marked step back from last season, but it sure seems the o-line is the reason why.

Another thing I found amusing is the idea the the defense of the Texans dominated completely. I saw some pretty shoddy ( Titan-esque ) tackling in that game. The J.J. Watt whiff was fun to watch :)
