NFL 2018 Superbowl LIII

The notion that Kraft is contributing to human trafficking by frequenting this massage parlor is sort of difficult to square IMO, unless it is proven that he knew that this crap was going on behind the scenes.

Not really. It's a well known fact around the world that human trafficking contributes to prostitution.
I suppose Kraft could be so detached from the real world that he is ignorant to the link between human trafficking and prostitution. I find that difficult to square.
Full disclosure: this subject hits very close to home for me as my wife and I volunteer at shelters to help rescue women (and sometimes men) who are victims of this crime.
So yeah, when I read/hear/see stories about people involved in prostitution, especially these big shots with millions of dollars, they receive scumbag status from me.
But hey, maybe the Department of Homeland Security, the IRS, Jupiter Police Department, Indian River Sheriff's Office, Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, Sebastian Police and the Martin County Health Department don't have videotape of Kraft engaging in sexual activities with these women. Maybe they got it all wrong and these were just friendly women in town working in a day spa.

I have a feeling from your comments thus far that you're OK with those who choose to solicit prostitutes. Maybe it's better we just leave this subject alone in the NFL thread.

Mike!

The sizzle of the headline is to make you think that Kraft had something to do with human trafficking? Please. The guy may have wanted a service call, but do you really think that he's part of a human trafficking scheme? Jeez.
Equally disgusting Especially if he has a family which he appears to have based on the 1mil camera takes on his luxury box during the SB

There may be bigger fish to fry yet in this story. The news media has laid out this story. These young women flew in from China to New York. Didn't do any business in New York but flew from there to Florida where their "sponsors" told them they had to put in work and told them how much was expected from them yearly.
How did Kraft know and get caught up down there. Surely between Boston and New York/Penna./New Jersey there are plenty of massage parlors. How did he wind up 3000 miles away from his home. Who told him there was "new talent" in Jupiter? They have videos of him soliciting and videos of him performing.

Kraft owns a home in Palm Beach where he spends a fair amount of time.

Here's what I think will happen IF Kraft is dead to rights on this thing: He'll do his mea culpa, plead for forgiveness and tell the world that he wasn't thinking in terms of the damage being done to lives behind-the-scenes, which is horrible. To that end, he will put up millions of dollars of his own money to assist the girls/women who have been used and abused, and to find/prosecute those responsible for trafficking.

IMO, that's what he SHOULD do if he's guilty-guilty-guilty. This is what happens when you think with your groin and not your brain. A person of Kraft's stature and wealth could have easily set up something more "legitimate", a high end consenting adult call-girl or something, and this would largely be a non-issue for most people. It just goes to show, no matter how high or low your are in life, everybody will have their "man, I'm a dumb-ass" moments. It's just that most people can go through their lives without an international scandal resulting from their transgressions.

Well, this isn't good. Invalid Link Removed
Not sure why a billionaire is going to a strip mall massage parlor. You'd think there would be better/more discreet options.

*literally* my first thought! Human trafficking aspect aside, he had plenty of other choices.

My daughter is at Northwestern University and called me yesterday morning to tell me about this. Kraft's granddaughter also goes to NU, and the entire campus was buzzing about it. I feel horrible for her - it's bad enough to consider your grandparents sexual lives, but to have the entire country talking about it? ugh...

First: Congrats Jon, Northwestern is a great school, your daughter must be Wicked Smaaat. Second, I agree.. so awful for family members to go through something like this; something they had nothing to do with.
Fans here in NE are scratching our heads...
