I knew the Seattle game was going to be tough. I will say I was discouraged but the high hits on Tanny. The one got a flag but there were two that went uncalled to the back of his head, one of which clearly rang his bell. Not cool. Also not particularly rare from that squad.

100 yards of penalties is a tough thing to give another team. I have no illusions that was the catalyst that let Henry will his team to win. He wasn't going to let them fail. I'm glad the coaches pulled their collective heads out and fed the beast.

Also... That was a catch ref's.

So, it comes to this.

Dare I think the Titans can actually win against the Colt's?

History says even when the Colt's are a Steam locomotive in a modern world the Titans always manage to trump them by being the train wreck.

Here's to keeping it on the tracks.

The Titans beat the Seahawks and the Seahawks beat the Colts. Which means absolutely nothing, of course.

I have no illusions of what happened in the great wet north :) The Seahawks beat themselves and the Titans accepted the gift. If only just. The Titans have always been the little brother that gets whooped on by their older sibling. It's frustrating as a fan.

Well I was pulling for the Lions, but if they were going to lose, I'm ok with that little Tucker kicking an NFL record doinker of a FG.

The Bengals played a hell of a game.

The Chargers almost gave that away. . . Herbert is the goods.

I'm glad the Titans asserted themselves.

The Bears need to have a discussion with their O-Line. . . holy hell.

I was watching the Jags/Cards game and the Cards attempted a 68 yarder! It came up just short and was returned 109 yards for a TD.

It's been a few years coming when the Steelers went all in with Ben and didn't make the bold move to replace him, and here we are. Towels aren't the only thing terrible in Pittsburgh.
The good news is they have a cornerstone defensive player and two young stars on offense to rebuild around. Still, since they avoided making this decision for longer than they should have, unless they find a way to trade for a young star QB, they are a few years away from being a decent team again.

Yeah, all areas of his game are declining fast. I saw this tweet earlier...58 passes!!

"Only 5 of Ben Roethlisberger's 58 passes Sunday were thrown more than 16 yards down the field. Only one was completed. By contrast, 17 passes were thrown to behind or at the line of scrimmage."

That was just painful to watch.

It's not all on Ben by any means. The o-line is atrocious, the play calling is suspect and receivers don't seem to get open quick enough and hold onto the damn ball. The only thing that has changed from last year is we now have a stud RB. That said, it may be time to give Rudolph the keys to the car for the rest of the year and find out once and for all if he can carry this team until the next true franchise QB can be had. From what he has done the last couple years, I do not think he is a step down from Ben at this point.
