Right before the Chargers got the game winning TD, NBC flashed a stat that the Chargers have lost more games than any other NFL team when leading going into the fourth quarter.
The Steelers had the NFL's worst team at holding a lead on the ropes, but couldn't hold on.
Fire Tomlin and Butler too.

OK. So I spent major bucks and drove 7+ hours from Maine to western NY to sit through THAT crapshow? Josh is overthinking things now which is an even bigger problem when his O-line gives him so little time to think. The defense is supposed to be a bright spot, but that only happens when they decide to show up. I've maintained for years that games are won and lost in the trenches. Buffalo got beat on both sides of the ball by a team that did what they've been doing all year. No surprises, no fancy new scheme. To say I'm disappointed would be a gross understatement. To say I'm used to being disappointed should be obvious. The Bills...still my team but...AAARRRRGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two really fine young QB’s, lots of fun stuff to come from them, for sure. :cool:

I like the Colts too, they are fun to watch. They turn you over and score points off of it. Pittman Jr has made some really acrobatic catches this year, and then Taylor running behind one of the best OL’s in the league… I did think that they might very well come away with a win in that game, but did not think it would be such a beatdown. Their schedule for the rest of the year is brutal, though…

That first drive by KC was a thing of beauty, I’ve been missing that this year. The sweep to Hill and then capped off by Kelce’s TD out of the wildcat - that’s more like it. Defense is finally stepping up of late.

The door is open for New England. They will take the AFC East, again.
The Bills, Jets, and Dolphins had tiny windows of time to take over the AFC East while Belichick rebuilt his team. Turns out the window was tinier than some thought.
Mac Jones will keep getting better and I'm sure Belichick already figured out how to beat Kansas City.

In the NFC, I actually think the Eagles are going to get in. They are starting to get into a rhythm and - other than a game with the Cowboys - have a pretty favorable schedule remaining.

I don't think the Seahawks have a ghost of a chance. Well, maybe a ghost, but the ghost will leave soon. Wilson isn't OK yet, and the defense cannot carry the team at all. The ranks of cornerbacks was thin. Now non-existent. They will have safeties and linebackers playing corner at the rate they are dropping. And the O isn't going to carry a bucket of water across the room, let alone a team.

Every time they show Butler on the sidelines I can't figure out whether that look on his face is a smirk or a "Where am I??!" look. I'm thinking the latter...

I notice that too.
That was one of the laziest hires in the history of lazy hires for the NFL. Everyone was crying and sad LeBeau was leaving, so rather than put forth an effort to bring in a DC with a scheme/system that works, they just handed the job to Butler.

At one point in Sunday night's game they showed Ben sitting on the sideline, looking skyward and saying something. I can't read lips but I'll bet it was something like "Why did I come back for one more year of this $#!t?"

When the Titans take the field Sunday, only Tanny will be a generally recognized name. Who are these guys? Fodder, that's who. . .

The football gods giveth and they taketh away . . .

If my football fandom heart wasn't already so calloused I'd probably feel despondent. No, this feels all too familiar.
