Although there have been a lot of them, this might have been the worst game I've seen the Steelers play in a long, long time. They were friggin' awful.

The announcers were speculating at one point about what Tomlin's comments might be after the game. The one said, "I can almost hear him now, saying that this is simply unacceptable..." While the announcer wasn't being sarcastic, I got a good laugh over that. "The standard is the standard. We need to clean up some things. Next man up..." Rinse and repeat...

There are six guys on that team that belong in a Steelers uniform. The rest have given up on the season or are just so bad you can't even tell. There needs to be a total demolition starting at the top.

Indeed it was a massive win for the Bengals. The Bengals earned that win fair and square and made a loud statement along the way. But let's remember that the Steeler team that took the field for the two matchups this year is nothing like the team that's dominated the Bengals for the better part of the last decade.
While the Bengals are very much an improved team, the Steelers are very much a team in decline at this point.
I'm not disrespecting the Bengals or their fans, but that's where we're at now.

Painful truth. The Browns are having an off season. Mayfield might be able to heal a bit during the bye week, but he's so beat up I kinda wonder how much longer he will last before some appendage just falls off.

I expect the Seahawks to get their heads handed back to them this evening. The football gods aren't smiling on my favorite teams this season, and that includes NCAA football.

But the Mariners are currently in first place and undefeated.

Ha, you don't see this very often.

It is always good when one of the big guys gets to score. Too bad the final was what it was. A successful onside kick negated by a ticky-tac penalty that was legit. But still ticky-tac.

Ticky tac or not, the WFT earned that game with over twice the time of possession and sustained drives. The kid playing quarterback has not shied from the spotlight and is playing gutsy football the past few weeks.

On the other side of the ball, Wilson is tough for coming back to help his team, but he isn't right and if the team is truly out of the playoffs and has any sense, they should rest their franchise player and get him ready for next season. Nothing to be gained by playing him, and everything to lose.
